Feeling Good Psychotherapy LCSW (FGP) with locations in Manhattan and in Westchester is a fast-growing, high-end CBT psychotherapy center dedicated to providing effective and result-oriented treatment. We specialize in helping children, adolescents and adults overcome panic, social anxiety, worry, OCD, depression, couples/relationship difficulties and compulsions using state-of-the-art evidence-based therapy. We also focus on providing advanced CBT training and support to our therapists and the mental health community.

Our Ideal Applicant

  • Therapist with some CBT and/or DBT training or extremely motivated to learn quickly. Experience with eating disorders and/or LGBT issues, a plus!
  • Willing & motivated to stay on top of the latest research and evidence-based methods through our free training program and become a Integrative-CBT certified therapist.
  • Would like to develop a career with The Feeling Good Center for CBT and who is passionate about providing excellent therapy to high functioning clients in a supportive, kind and respectful manner.
  • Able and willing to attend weekly group training & supervision on location and/or an evening video group conference (TBD).
  • Licensed in NY, NJ and/or CT.

What We Offer

  • Weekly, intensive training in evidence-based therapy with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Supervision and client contact hours to meet the experience requirement for NYS licensure as an LCSW, LMFT or LMHC.
  • Earning certification in Integrative-CBT following participation in training groups led for staff on-site.
  • The opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and get paid for doing what you love – THERAPY!
  • Administrative support: Opportunity to work independently in a private practice environment without the operational responsibilities and paperwork that goes along.
  • Scheduling and other time-consuming, non-therapy tasks are minimal and taken care of by our excellent support staff.
  • Regular consultation and support with certified cognitive therapists and founders of FGC.
  • Competitive compensation scale ranges from $33 up to $60 an hour depending on licensing, years of experience and training, equivalent to $50-100k annually for full time (35 client hrs/week).
